PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable optical pickup device causing less distortion of a casing while the casing and a circuit board are grounded and fixed reliably, and to provide an information recording/reproducing device using the optical pickup device. SOLUTION: In the optical pickup device 1, the circuit board 3 and a first shock absorption member 7 are overlapped on the casing 2 in this order and are bonded and fixed by a fixing member 5. A ground conductor 6 is provided on a surface facing the casing 2 of the circuit board 3 and is reliably grounded to the casing 2 by being pressed by the fixing member 5. By providing the first shock absorption member 7, press by the fixing member 5 is reduced, and the distortion of the casing 2 is reduced, thus preventing the optical axis of light emitted from the optical pickup from deviating and hence preventing reliability in the optical pickup device 1 from lowered.
