The device has transistors (Q1-Q6), where emitters of the transistors (Q1, Q2) are coupled with each other and emitters of the transistors (Q3, Q4) are coupled with each other. The emitters are connected with a collector (4) of the transistors (Q5, Q6) over two filters having transmission lines, respectively. A local oscillator input port (6) is connected with bases of the transistors (Q1, Q4). A radio frequency input port (10) and an inverse radio frequency input port (11) are connected with bases of the transistor (Q5, Q6), respectively. An independent claim is also included for a method for mixing an input signal with a radio frequency signal.
