METHOD OF FORMING A PATTERN AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY MANUFACTURED BY THE SAME

A pattern forming method and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) manufactured by the same are provided to pattern a photosensitive layer through a nano imprint process, and form a pattern by lifting off a photosensitive pattern after forming a pattern object thin film, thereby reducing the number of processes and costs by removing an expensive etching process. After forming a photosensitive layer on an upper part of a substrate(10), the photosensitive layer is bonded with a mold where a predetermined pattern is carved. A photosensitive pattern(40) is formed by hardening the photosensitive layer. After forming an object layer(50) on the whole upper part, the photosensitive pattern lifts off. The photosensitive pattern is formed in an inverse taper shape. The photosensitive pattern of the inverse tape shape is formed by ashing the photosensitive pattern.
