<p>A tire for heavy load having a long lifetime and exhibiting excellent abrasion resistance obtained by providing design scheme for making the tread abrade uniformly in the width direction, to a tire for heavy load, typically a tire for a construction vehicle. In the tire for heavy load where the tread of the tire is provided with a plurality of circumferential grooves extending along the equator of the tire, a tread side region is sectioned between the circumferential groove on the tread end side out of these circumferential grooves and the tread end, and a large number of lug grooves extending in the tread width direction are arranged in the tread side region, the lug groove has a depth in the range of 20-40% of the thickness of tread rubber on the equator surface of the tire.</p> |
