A plasma display apparatus is provided to stabilize the operation of the plasma display apparatus by transmitting differential signals converted from sub-field mapping data. A plasma display apparatus includes a plasma display panel(130), a sub-field mapping unit(100), a data aligning unit(110), and a data driver(120). The plasma display panel includes address electrodes. The sub-field mapping unit performs a sub-field mapping on image data, converts the executed image data into differential signals, and transmits the differential signals. The data aligning unit receives the differential signals, recovers the image data, and aligns the recovered image data corresponding to the address electrodes. The data driver supplies image data aligned by the data aligning unit to the address electrodes.
