<p>The method has at least one programmable control (1,2) with at least one digital and/or analogue input (3,4) and a serial interface (5) for cyclic interrogation of the electrical switching devices or signal sources coupled to the inputs, for provision of a corresponding character chain converted into a network data packet at an associated terminal server (8), for transmission via a standard network (9) to a computer (10). The latter converts the received data packet into a character chain combined with the date and time before input in a memory or transfer to a serial interface (11).</p> |
