PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high efficiency low-ripple two transformer DC-DC converter in which breakdown voltage of a switch can be reduced sharply. SOLUTION: The two transformer DC-DC converter comprises a transformer T1 having coils N1, N2 and N3 and a transformer T2 having coils N4, N5 and N6, wherein the coils N1 and N4 are connected in series to constitute a first coil pair; the coils N2 and N5 are connected in series to constitute a second coil pair; the other end of the coil N2 serves as the independent terminal Te1 of the second coil pair; the other end of the coil N1 serves as the independent terminal Te2 of the first coil pair; and the other ends of the coils N4 and N5 serve as the common terminal Tec of the first and second coil pairs. A switch Q1 is switched at a predetermined period by connecting a DC terminal Tedc1 and the common terminal Tec, and a switch Q2 is switched, to complement the switch Q1 by connecting a DC terminal Tedc2 and the common terminal Tec. A capacitor C1 connects the DC terminal Tedc1 and the independent terminal Te1, and a capacitor C2 connects the DC terminal Tedc2 and the independent terminal Te2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
