PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a change even if a cell is different, and to facilitate its control, concerning a polarization rate characteristic of polarized xenon gas generated by a cell for manufacturing the polarized xenon gas. SOLUTION: This cell for manufacturing the polarized xenon gas has a cell body used as a field for generating the polarized xenon gas by an optical pumping method using rubidium; and a xenon gas introduction tube and a xenon gas discharge tube installed on the cell body, and connected respectively to a valve. A rubidium storage domain for storing rubidium is provided inside the cell body, and rubidium is stored in the rubidium storage domain. A rubidium introduction port mark sealed after introducing liquified rubidium for excitation into the cell body exists on the cell body. A guide for rubidium along which the liquified rubidium flows down is formed from the rubidium introduction port mark to the rubidium storage domain. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
