METHOD FOR PRODUCING 2-ALKYL-3-AMINOTHIOPHENE DERIVATIVE

Disclosed is a method for producing a 2-alkyl-3-aminothiophene derivative represented by the general formula (2) below by reducing a 2-alkenyl-3-aminothiophene derivative represented by one of the general formulae (1a)-(1d) below, a mixture thereof or a salt thereof without using a protecting group. (In the formulae, R¹, R², R³ and R⁴ independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1-12 carbon atoms or the like; and R⁵ and R⁶ independently represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group having 1-12 carbon atoms or the like.) This method enables to commercially produce a 2-alkyl-3-aminothiophene derivative which is useful as an agricultural chemical intermediate at low cost without using an economically disadvantageous protecting group for an amino group.
