A CEILING TYPE AIR CONDITIONER

A ceiling-mount type air conditioner is provided to prevent an amount of discharged air from suddenly decreasing and to prevent resistance of the discharged air from increasing when a user adjusts the direction of air flow. A ceiling-mount type air conditioner comprises a body(30), suction and discharge ports(33,36), which are formed on the bottom of the body, a heat exchanger(45) disposed in the body, a support portion to support the heat exchanger, and a blower fan(51) to suck and discharge air. The discharge port is provided with a blade(54) to control the direction of air flow. The blade includes a main blade(57) and first and second auxiliary blades(60,63) which are integrally formed with the main blade. The main blade and the first and second auxiliary blades are vertically spaced apart from each other.
