The injector (1) has two pairs of resistors (9, 11) wound spirally around an upper surface of a cylindrical body, and a central channel (5) for guiding a plastic material. The pair of resistors (9) extends from a distal end (2) of the body along an axial area (1a) of the body. The pair of resistors (11) extends from the proximal end (3) of the body along another axial area (1b) of the body, where each pair of the resistors is operative independent of the other pair. Control thermocouple units (10, 12) are operationally connected with the resistors.
