The vehicle (1) has a roof (2) stored below an access opening (3) in a vehicle body (4). Transverse externally lying partial areas of the opening is covered by a set of lining parts (8) and an elastically deformable area (11), when the roof is stored. The lining parts are movable between a covered position and a release position. The elastically deformable area of one of the lining parts is clamped over edges (14) of associated supporting arms in the covered position. A surface of the lining parts forms a circle segment, where the arms are readily extended into the segment.
