A camera module and a portable terminal including the same are provided to mount an image sensor module on the upper surface of a lower plate, and to attach an optical system of the camera module on the lower surface of the lower plate. A display panel(50) is formed by bonding upper and lower substrates. A driving member is seated on a side of the upper surface of the lower substrate. A camera module(100) includes a camera sensor member seated on the other side of the upper surface of the lower substrate. A camera lens member is located oppositely to the camera sensor member and is formed at the lower surface of the lower substrate. The sensor member has a bump portion between the upper and lower substrates. A bump pad portion is formed at the upper surface of the lower substrate so that the bump of the sensor member is contacted with each other.
