An electrophoresis display device is provided to enable a micro shutter to flow by electrostatic force from the driving signal of a TFT, thereby improving driving speed and displaying desired characters at high speed without having influence by temperature. An electrophoresis display device comprises a first substrate(120) and a second substrate(110). The first substrate transmits or reflects light. The second substrate is formed to face the first substrate, and includes a light absorbing layer(130), a micro shutter(134), and a TFT(Thin Film Transistor). The light absorbing layer absorbs light incident from the first substrate to display black color. The micro shutter blocks the light incident from the first substrate. The TFT drives the micro shutter. A support film(132) is additionally included to hold a cell gap between the first and second substrates. |
