A gift item comprises a soft toy 1 in the form of a bear having arms 4A, 4B, and legs 5 and a pocket 9 formed in a chest region 8 of the body. A pouch 6 is attached to the extremity 10 of one of the arms 4B in which pouch, in use, an item can be stored. The pocket 9 is sized so that the pouch 6 can be fully inserted therein and a cover in the form of a heart shaped patch 11 is releasably securable across the pocket 9 so as to secure the pouch 6 therein. The arm extremity with 10 which the pouch 6 is associated is then held proximate to the pocket 9 in a manner such that the arm 4B appears to be resting on the chest region 8 of the body pointing towards the patch 11. |
