摘要 A system for providing ring back tone and bell sound services by using single-mode non-spreading data communication in a mobile communication terminal and a method for providing the ring back tone and bell sound services are provided to reproduce a sound source block received in real time continuously when the reproduction of a currently reproducing sound source block is completed, thereby enabling a user to listen to a sound source file set as the ring back tone or the bell sound seamlessly and naturally. A system(1) includes a sound source server(2) for transmitting a sound source file in real time in a broadcasting scheme or a multicasting scheme and a mobile communication terminal(3) for receiving the sound source file and reproducing the sound sources of a ring back tone and a bell sound. The sound source server includes a block generator(21), a first block transmitter(22), a sound source block transmitter(23), and a ring back tone information provider(24). The block generator divides each sound source file out of n sound source files of a transmission target into m blocks. The first block transmitter transmits the first block of the sound source file to the mobile communication terminal previously for a sound source service and stores the first block in the mobile communication terminal. The sound source block transmitter transmits the divided sound source blocks to the mobile communication terminal in real time in the broadcasting scheme or the multicasting scheme. The ring back tone information provider provides ring back tone information, which the receiver of a call sets up, to the mobile communication terminal originating the call currently. The mobile communication terminal includes a first block storage unit(31), a first block reproduction unit(32), a sound source block receiver(33), a continuous reproduction unit(34), and a ring back tone information receiver(35). The first block storage unit receives the first blocks of a separate sound source file received from the sound source server and stores the received first blocks in an internal memory. The first block reproduction unit extracts and reproduces the block of a corresponding sound source file from the first block stored in the internal memory when events such as the reproduction of the ring back tone, the bell sound, and a sound source occur. The sound source block receiver receives m-1 separate sound source blocks by a separate IP in the broadcasting scheme or the multicasting scheme by using m-1 IPs allocated while the sound source file included in the first block is reproducing. The continuous reproduction unit reproduces a next sound source block continuously when the currently reproducing sound source block is completed. The ring back tone information receiver receives ring back tone information set by the receiver from the ring back tone information provider of the sound source server, and extracts corresponding sound source file information and prepares the reproduction of the ring back tone.
