A wall 31 for a work area in a work space system, the wall comprising an openable area and at least one panel 33 capable of covering the openable area. The wall may be disposed between a first work area and a second work area and the openable area be adapted to permit visual and audio communication between a user in the first work area and a user in the second work area. In addition the at least one panel may be capable of moving horizontally from a first position to a second position. When the at least one panel is in the first position the openable area is open and while it is in the second position the openable area is covered.
