Infrared irradiation device for irradiating human skin

The device has a power regulating device (5) provided for an infrared source e.g. infrared lamp. A control circuit is provided for the power regulation of the infrared source, where a temperature of a portion of an irradiated skin surface and a core temperature of the person is incorporated as a control variable in the control circuit. Multiple radiation sensors i.e. pyrometer (2), and/or skin contact thermometer (7) are provided for the skin temperature measurement, where the skin contact thermometer is also provided for the measurement of the core temperature.
