An apparatus for managing distributed mobility and a method for supporting the mobility of the same are provided to improve a structure of applying an excessive load to a mobile terminal and perform address reallocation and location registration necessary for mobility management at high speed. An address management unit(110) allocates an address to a mobile terminal according to the request of the mobile terminal to register. A mobility management unit(120) acquires and manages information about the connection of the mobile terminal to a different sub network when the mobile terminal moves to the sub network. An interface unit(130) receives data, which the mobile terminal transmits, and transmits data toward the mobile terminal to the mobile terminal.
