A support disk-type bearing apparatus (5) of a spinning rotor (3) is arranged on a stationary bearing component (27) of an axial bearing (18) in such a way that a central axis (50) of the spinning rotor (3) retained in a wedge-shaped bearing part (56) is shifted in the direction of the wedge-shaped bearing part (56) from the central axis (50) of the stationary bearing component (27) of the axial bearing (18). The support-type bearing apparatus is positioned outside magnet/magnetic pole disk units (41, 42 and 43). The stationary bearing component (27) facing support discs (54, 54') is equipped with a supporting face having an antifriction and wear-resistant surface layer (40), in an angle range {alpha} of at least 45 degrees at the bearing side separated from the wedge-shape bearing part (56), isolated from a rotor shaft (4) and installed during an operation. When the spinning apparatus (1) is in operation, then the distance of the antifriction and wear-resistant surface layer (40)from the rotor shaft (4)makes at the most one half of the least distance between the pole shoes (42, 43) and ferromagnetic bridges (45, 46). |
