Double clamp collar and assembly method

The collar (1) has a body part (3) on which two collar bands (5) are mounted, and provided with three surface elements i.e. identical discs (7), which are parallel and coaxial. A central disc (7a) of the identical discs is connected to two external discs (7b) by two bridge pieces (9) between which one of the collar bands is received with freedom of rotation. The external discs are separated relative to each other by a distance slightly higher than a thickness of the received collar band. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting a double clamp collar.
