The device (1) has a receiving device (3) with a flat needle carrier section (4) and a clamping lip (5) opposite the needle carrier section. The clamping lip is placed to bridge an end (14) of one of a set of needles (2) and to clamp the needle against the needle carrier section to hold the needle in place. The clamping lip has an edge (7) that is bent away from the needle carrier section to form an insertion funnel to facilitate the insertion of the needles into an inside space (9) formed between the clamping lip and the needle carrier section.
