A holder for a writing implement 20 comprising a ring 10 that is worn on a finger of a user and on to which a pen 20 is attached when not in use. A seat 14 is formed in the ring and a resilient strap 16 extends over the seat 14 to hold the writing implement 20 in place when not in use. The ring 10 is worn in a normal manner and when the writing implement 20 is not required for use, it is inserted into the seat 14 below the strap 16 so as to lie along the back of the finger and hand so as not to interfere with other activities. When the writing implement 20 is to be used it is simply removed from the seat 14. |
