A rendering apparatus and a rendering method are provided to perform one or more first raster works for checking the display possibility of fragments as pixels and thereafter to perform one or more third raster works for displaying the fragment as pixels. A scan conversion member(110) produces the plural fragments by every planes constructed by vertexes for forming graphing data for rendering. A checking member(120) performs at least one among the first raster works and the second raster works. A fragment processing member(130) performs at least one among the third raster works. A scissor test member(140) performs the scissor test relating to the inputted fragments. When the position of the pixel corresponding to the fragment exists in the previously designated area, the scissor test member outputs the inputted fragment to a position comparing member. When the position of the pixel corresponding to the fragment does not exist in the previously designated area, the scissor test member discards the inputted fragment.
