A display device filter and a display device using the same are provided to improve a display quality by optimizing transmittance and reflexibility of the filter. A display device filter includes plural light absorbing units(101) and a light transmitting unit(102). The light transmitting unit is arranged between the light absorbing units. An angle between a first side of the light absorbing unit and an external surface of the light transmitting unit is smaller than the angle between a second side of the light absorbing unit and the external surface of the light transmitting unit. A cross-section of the light absorbing unit is one of a trapezoidal shape and a triangular shape.
