An apparatus for producing multilayer glass is provided to prevent production of defected products caused by manual feed of glass members, to realize a simple structure, and to improve the productivity. An apparatus for producing multilayer glass comprises: an entry conveyor(60) to which glass members are supplied; a coating removing device(70) for trimming the edges of the coated surfaces of the glass members supplied to the entry conveyor; a washing device(86) for washing the surfaces of the glass members discharged from the coating removing device; a checking conveyor(88) for checking whether the glass members discharged from the washing device are defected or not; an assembling conveyor(89) for joining space members to the space members discharged from the checking conveyor; a press section(90) for laminating multiple layers of the glass members discharged from the assembling conveyor; and a sealing section(110) for carrying out sealing along the edges of the multilayer laminated glass members discharged from the press section. The press section comprises: a fixing plate to which the glass members are supplied and which has a grip portion therein; a moving plate opposite to the fixing plate, moving reciprocatably and having a grip portion therein; a vacuum pressure applying unit for providing vacuum pressure to the grip portions of the fixing plate and the moving plate; and a lift unit disposed at the bottom of the fixing plate and the moving plate for supporting the bottom ends of the glass members. Further, the apparatus additionally contains a supply conveyor(10) for supplying the glass members automatically to the entry conveyor. |
