A wave dissipation block and a breakwater using the same are provided to disperse waves by inclining partial blocks and to let dispersed waves flow away by forming grooves between partial blocks and a draining hole at the center of the wave dissipation block. A wave dissipation block comprises four partial blocks(120,130,140,150), connection members, and a bottom block(180). Four partial blocks are inclined and different in size. The connection members are installed under the partial blocks. The bottom block is attached to the lower part of the connection member. The inclined shaped of the partial block disperses waves. A draining hole(102) is bored at the center of the wave dissipation block having four partial blocks. The partial blocks are separated from one another and provided with grooves(104) therebetween. |
