<p>Reducing pollutant emissions and/or odor-emitting substances in polymer materials comprises adding an entraining agent containing capsule into the polymer material, releasing the entraining agent in connection with a pressure and/or heat in the material melt and evaporating under vacuum-low pressure with bubbles- and foam-formation under entrainment of volatile pollutants and/or odor-emitting substances. An independent claim is included for an additive for reducing pollutants and/or odor-emitting substances in polymer materials comprising capsule, which is filled with up to 95 wt.% of entraining agent and exists a solid capsule-envelope.</p> |
