Method and Apparatus for Reducing NOx in Exhaust Gases of Fluidized Bed Incinerators

Method for reducing the nitrogen oxide content in combustion gases produced from a waste incineration plant using fluidized bed firing comprises adding water to the waste depending on the temperature in the fluidized bed. An independent claim is also included for a device for carrying out the above method. Preferred Features: The temperature in the fluidized bed is adjusted to less than 800[deg] C by adding water to the waste. The water addition is carried out depending on the amount of waste in the fluidized bed.
