The invention relates to a work machine, in particular an industrial truck, comprising a device (hood 1), which can be pivoted from a first position into a second position, and comprising at least one spring element (5) which produces a linear force, acts in the direction of the second position and has a coupling joint (6) to the device (hood 1) and a coupling joint (7) to a component fixed to the vehicle (frame 8) and the length of which in the installed state differs from the length in the non-installed state, producing prestressing. In order to make simplified installation and disassembly of the spring element possible, according to the invention at least one of the coupling joints (6) is located on a lever (10) fastened in an articulated manner and is spaced apart from the pivot axis (S) thereof. The lever (10) can be pivoted about the pivot axis (S) in the second position of the device (hood 1) between an assembly position and an operating position. In the assembly position, the distance between the coupling joints (6, 7) substantially corresponds to the length of the spring element (5) in the non-installed state. In the operating position the distance between the coupling joints (6, 7) is changed, producing prestressing. |
