A rock drilling method using a center pipe is provided to excavate along a planned hole dug under the earth by installing a rock drilling machine to the center pipe. A rock drilling method using a center pipe(107) includes the steps of: sinking down a caisson(108) through the earth and excavating; once the front end of the caisson reach to a bed rock(100), boring a small diameter excavation by using a small boring machine; when excavating to a planned depth, inserting the center pipe in the excavation; and mounting a rock drilling machine to the center pipe and drilling the bedrock. The front end portion of the center pipe is provided with a plurality of holes(106). A water supply pipe(105) connects with the upper end of the center pipe.
