A manufacturing method of a coil assembly is provided to enhance junction reliability between a coil and a terminal by maximizing a contact area between the terminal and the coil. A manufacturing method of a coil assembly includes the steps of: preparing a frame(4) composed of a band-shaped metal plate; forming an aperture, an extension unit(42) extended from an end of an edge of the aperture, and a terminal extended from an end of the extension unit on the frame, wherein the terminal is flat in parallel with a surface of the frame and includes a first unit and a second unit; arranging the frame in a mold to position the terminal in a cavity of the mold; forming a body(31) with resin material injected into the cavity of the mold, wherein the second unit is buried in the body; separating the frame from the mold; cutting between the extension unit and the first unit of the terminal; receiving a conductive core in the body; and winding coils around the body and joining the coils to the first unit of the terminal.
