A cover plate assembly for the lithium ion battery, and a battery case and a lithium ion battery both using the same. The cover plate assembly comprises a cover and a seal unit. An injection hole for electrolyte is arranged on the cover.A part of the seal unit is at least arranged in the injection hole and tightly matches the injection hole so as to seal the injection hole. The seal unit has a flange that extends out of the injection hole so as to limit the depth of the seal unit entering into the injection hole. A flange is arranged on the seal unit so that it can easily control the depth of the seal unit entering into the injection hole at the time of press sealing, and can prevent the problems occurred as insufficiently pressing or pressing too deeply in the prior sealing technical.
