A chair with a separable waist exercise mechanism is provided to combine a chair function and a waist exercise unit function, while dispersing load from the chair tilting and load from the weight of a user. A waist exercise unit to be combined with a chair comprises: a support fixture(200) constituted by a substitute receiving part, a globular projection receiving part, a rotation axis through-hole, and a spring bottom receiving part to receive a spring(250); a fastener(260) having a female screw formed at the inner circumferential face to be screwed with the support fixture; a seat support(240); a seat support shaft(230); and a bottom holder(220). The globular projection receiving part receives a globular projection(211), and a female screw being combined with the bottom holder is formed at the lower area of the inner circumferential face of the globular projection receiving part.
