An ACU Coding Method using Line End Programming is provided to reduce the number of ACU specifications by performing a coding operation by comparing transmission information with ACU determination information. ACU configuration is determined by determining the mounting of an external system or the connection with parts related to an air bag(S502,S504). ACU specification code is selected by searching an ACD look-up table for a specification code for the ACU configuration(S506). A VIN of a vehicle is read through a scanner and transmitted to a server(S514). The information on the ACU configuration is transmitted to an ACU(S516). An intrinsic ACD code is compared with the ACU specification code transmitted from the server(S522).
