A method of manufacturing a supplementary food for treatment of constipation containing mulberry leaf extract as a main ingredient is provided to obtain the supplementary food for treatment of constipation with a quick effect on treating constipation. Mulberry leaf is dried in well ventilated shade, ground and diluted with mixed liquid(a volume ratio of water containing far infrared rays and ethyl alcohol=10:90) in a ratio of 1:2(W/v=1/2). The diluted liquid is then passed through a pressure device(French Press) with a plurality of fine holes of 0.05 to 0.1mm at a pressure of 10psi to make a nick of 80 to 90% at a cell membrane of mulberry leaf which is swollen in a solvent. The mixture is agitated at 60deg.C for 24hr at 10rpm/min to maintain a concentration of water and ethyl alcohol in a ratio of 1:1 by evaporating ethyl alcohol and added with far infrared water to give a final concentration of 20 microgram/ml by measuring the chlorophyll concentration of the mixture. The mixture is added with natural dietary fiber to obtain a concentration of 250mg/ml and sterilized at low temperature to prevent vitamin and minerals. The natural dietary fiber is obtained by soaking an orange and apricot in far infrared water for more than 30min, removing seed and skin and grinding and freeze-drying contents.
