A radio relay device using an ARFEC and a method thereof, and a recording medium recording the same are provided to improve stability by preventing oscillation by being adapted to change of peripheral environment, maintain QoS(Quality of Service) at a predetermined level by constantly maintaining a size of an output signal, and obtain a superior C/I by compensating distortion of a signal to be relayed. A radio relay device comprises an antenna, a band pass filter, a switching unit, a converting unit, a synchronization obtaining unit(105) and an ARFEC unit. The ARFEC comprises the following parts. A first AGC(Auto Gain controller)(310) automatically controls a gain of a forward relay signal to be relayed. A first feedback signal detector(308) detects a phase and size of a feedback signal from a forward relay signal from the first AGC and an external first down converter, and updates the signal. A first reverse feedback signal synthesizer(306) generates a reverse feedback signal by using the forward relay signal from the first AGC and the phase and size of the feedback signal from the first feedback signal detector. A first feedback signal removing unit(304) removes a feedback signal present within a forward relay signal from the first down converter by using the reverser feedback signal from the first reverse feedback signal synthesizer, and transmits the signal to the first AGC. A first equalizer removes a distorted signal by multi paths from the first feedback signal removing unit. A radio relay device further comprises a second AGC(322), a second feedback signal detector(320), a second reverse feedback signal synthesizer(318), a second feedback signal removing unit(316), a second equalizer(330) and an original signal generator(326).
