The invention relates to nuclear engineering, to designs of bodies of nuclear power units, in particular to bodies of water-water reactors under pressure. The body consists of block of nuclear fuel as vertical cylindrical vessel and hermetically connected to it block of heat carrier as horizontal cylindrical vessel with four placed in pairs oppositely there inlet branch pipes and outlet branch pipes placed over those. To provide reliable and trouble-free operation during long time, for minimization of sequences of failures in case of emergency situations coming to existence the body is made of three shells between which there are gaps forming cavities for supply of medium under pressure (water, eater steam) that counteracts to pressure of heat carrier on inner shell of the body. |
