The invention relates to means of measuring engineering, in particular to measuring devices for intensity of ionizing radiation. Method for measurement of intensity of ionizing radiation includes detection of radiation, formation of pulses with same duration and setting period of time of analysis. Intensity of ionizing radiation is determined by evaluation of joint N-dimension distribution function for probabilities of number of those pulses in unit time. The invention provides measurement of flows of ionizing radiation with small intensities with high probability at smaller time of analysis.
