DEVICE FOR MEASUREMENT OF TEMPERATURE IN MOLTEN METALS

Device is proposed for measurement of temperature in molten metals by means of optical fiber. Optical fiber is directly of indirectly connected to measuring device and is kept with bearing element. Immersed end of fiber is fed through rod that can be consumed in metal melt. Consumable rod has rate of consumption maximum 10 cm/min and that rate of consumption is equal or larger than rate of destruction of structure of optical fiber.
