FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology. ^ SUBSTANCE: this device contains hollow closed curvilinear shell of biologically inactive biocompatible material. Device consists of two constituents. The first constituent is made as ellipsoid congruent to eyeball surface, and external ellipsoid surface is connected to internal surface of the second constituent. The second constituent is made as three ellipsoid belts congruent to surface of the first constituent. Longitudinal symmetry axis of the first ellipsoid belt is parallel to longitudianal symmetry axis of the first constituent. The second and the third ellipsoid belts cross the low part of the first ellipsoid belt at sharp angle to longitudinal symmetry axis of the first ellipsoid belt, at the same time, the second ellipsoid belt crosses the third ellipsoid belt at blunt angle. Eeach ellipsoid belt has not less than 4 loops, each of them is able to bend or curve in any plane, and its convexity is faced oppositely to the first constituent and at equal distance from another loop. The second constituent consists of interweaved fibers of biologically inactive biocompatible material. ^ EFFECT: allows improvement of cosmetic effect in enucleation. ^ 2 dwg |
