The invention relates to an outward positioning device (1) for a sash of a window or of a door, in which a limiting stop for the pivoting angle of the sash relative to the frame is provided between the sash and the frame. The limiting stop consists of an outward positioning arm (2), which is rotationally coupled to the sash and frame and which is formed from plates (10, 11). Each plate (10, 11) has a longitudinal slot (12, 13) and a stop tongue (14, 15) mounted in front while located at a distance from the plate plane. Each plate (10, 11), together with the stop tongue (14, 15), engages in the longitudinal slot (12, 13) of the other plate (11, 10), and the stop tongue (14, 15) of each plate (10, 11) is adjacent to a stop (16) for the other stop tongue. The aim of the invention is to provide an outward positioning device for limiting the outward positioning distance of a sash, in which, in addition to having small installation space, a fixing of the sash in its open position is provided. To this end, the stop tongue (14, 15) is formed by an angled section of the plate (10, 11), a clamping tongue (18) oriented in the longitudinal direction of the longitudinal slot (13) projects from the end of the longitudinal slot, and the stop (16) and clamping tongue (18), which interact with one another, are matched in a manner that enables them to be moved past one another while the clamping tongue (18) is elastically deformed. |
