FIELD: medicine; stomatology. ^ SUBSTANCE: method can be used for treatment of inflammatory diseases of salivary glands. For this purpose, the pharmaceutical agent, which contains diclofenac sodium 1 weight percent and silica glycerohydrogel as a gel base at the rest amount, is applied upon skin above salivary glands of rats. Single dose of 50 mg/kg medicine is applied daily upon skin area up to 4 cm2. Treatment course is up to 14 days. ^ EFFECT: method allows of termination of inflammatory manifestations by only using the locally acting medicine, due to its high transcutaneous absorption and anti-inflammatory activity. ^ 1 tbl, 2 ex |
