FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology. ^ SUBSTANCE: this device contains hollow closed curvilinear shell of biologically inactive biocompatible material. Device consists of two constituents. The first constituent is made as ellipsoid congruent to eyeball surface. External ellipsoid surface is connected to internal surface of the second constituent. The second constituent is made as segment with ellipsoid surface with central internal surface connected to part of external surface of the first constituent. Parts of the second constituent located at its periphery and unconnected with the first constituent are made as concavity faced towards the first constituent. External surface of the second constituent has not less than 4 loops at equal distance from another loop. Each loop is able to bend or curve in any plane, and its convexity is faced oppositely to the first constituent. The second constituent consists of interweaved fibers of biologically inactive biocompatible material. ^ EFFECT: improves cosmetic effect in enucleation with signs of eye phthisis. ^ 2 dwg
