FIELD: agriculture; agricultural engineering; grain dryers. ^ SUBSTANCE: grain dryer consists in loading hopper, cylindrical casing with discharge opening. Inside the casing there is a transporting operating element, made as a screw, capable of coaxial rotation. On the casing external surface between the loading hopper and discharge opening under the layer of heat-insulating material along the screw lines there are heating elements. The screw turns are perforated, the perforation diameter is not more than the minimum grain size. The casing is compound. The casing components are divided by rings made of heat-insulating material. Each casing component is equipped with the individual heating element and capable of individual heating temperature adjustment for each casing section. The casing end surface from the loading hopper is perforated. Besides, the dryer includes a fan and an air duct, connected with the internal casing chamber behind the discharge opening. ^ EFFECT: decreases grain drying process specific energy intensity; improves end product quality. ^ 2 dwg |
