<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalytic cracking catalyst capable of efficiently manufacturing FCC gasoline in a high yield by reducing the production amount of coke and enhancing the selectivity of gasoline in the catalytic cracking of hydrocarbon oil, and a catalytic cracking method of hydrocarbon oil using it. <P>SOLUTION: The catalytic cracking catalyst of hydrocarbon oil contains 10-75 wt.% of a clay mineral showing the XRD pattern of kaolinite-IMd and the XRD pattern of at least one of kaolinite-1A, Quartz and Boehmite, 20-50 mass% of a crystalline aluminosilicate and 5-40 mass% of a silica binder in X-ray diffraction (XRD).
