<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector of a cable achieved in low profile, easy in connection and automated in assembling. <P>SOLUTION: An adapter 12 composed of a body 16 and a reinforcing plate 18 that are connected to the other end of a flexible wiring board is lowered from a position directly above an adapter housing 10. A slide lock lever 22 is pressurized against the elastic force of a return spring 10RS. Claws 18nc of the adapter 12 are engaged with the peripheral edge of the slide lock lever 22. Then, the slide lock lever 22 is returned to an initial position by the elastic force of the return spring 10RS to make the claws engaged with the claw of the slide lock lever 22, thereby coming into a locked state. The adapter 12 can be removed by detaching the adapter 12 upward while the slide lock lever 22 is pressurized against the elastic force of the return spring 10RS. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
