<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give a valve element a sufficiently large amount of lift, and to surely prevent lifting-up of a bearing part of a rocker arm from a lash adjuster (HLA), in a valve train provided with a lash adjuster (HLA). <P>SOLUTION: A rocker arm 10 having the bearing part 12 and a rocker roller 20 is provided. The HLA 14 having the pivot 16 inserted into the bearing part 12 and supporting one end of a rocker arm 20 is provided. The pivot 16 is formed of a spherical surface, and the bearing part 12 is formed of a bullet-shaped dent. An oscillating arm 22 is operated in synchronization with rotation of a camshaft to transmit roller pressing force to the rocker roller 20. A direction where the oscillating arm 22 presses the rocker roller 20 is shifted on an HLA 14 side according to increase in lift of the valve element 18. An axis of the bearing part 12 is inclined with respect to an axis of the HLA 14 byα°to tilt an osculating circle 44. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
