PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate abnormal vibration of a liquid storage tank because the liquid storage tank violently vibrates all of a sudden in a conventional solar heat collecting unit and the vibration causes trouble leading to damage at worst. SOLUTION: The solar heat collecting unit 1 has a heat collector 4 for collecting solar heat; the liquid storage tank 5 storing a liquid heat medium W; a delivery pipe 6 feeding the heat medium W from the liquid storage tank 5 to the heat collector 4; and a recovery pipe 7 returning the heat medium W from the heat collector 4 to the liquid storage tank 5, wherein the heat medium W is warmed in the heat collector 4 to utilize solar heat, and the recovery pipe 7 is connected into a position higher than the highest liquid level of the heat medium W in the liquid storage tank 5.
