<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle type vehicle in which both the clutch and transmission are driven with a common actuator, capable of enhancing the comfortableness by reducing the shock when the clutch is engaged in the shifting motion. <P>SOLUTION: A motorcycle is equipped with the clutch, transmission, a shifting shaft rotated by the actuator, and a power transmitting mechanism to put the clutch and transmission in operation while it is interlocking with the rotation of the shifting shaft when shifting is conducted. In case the engine speed attains a prescribed value or over at up-shifting, ECU of this motorcycle performs the engine output suppressing process to suppress the engine output more than that when the engine speed remains below the prescribed value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
